Dr. Stewart was pleasant, patient and provided a thorough examination of my wound and recommended care.

She was very attentive and called me twice to check and make sure how the antibiotic was working for me. I was very pleased with her attention to my needs.

I walked in an hour before closing and they were still very kind and accommodating. A short wait, I was taken back and seen right away, fixed me up and out the door. I know that if I would have waited instead I would’ve ended up in the emergency room in the middle of the night.

Sometimes urgent care can feel the opposite of urgent or caring. But I was able to schedule a last minute appointment, see a caring and thoughtful nurse, and visit with a thorough and sensitive doc who did not seem rushed or “put out” that I had medical needs on a Sunday evening. I love this crew.

My experience with Durango Urgent Care has been very pleasant :) The checking process was efficient, and I consulted with Ms. Kiessel. She provided prescription medicine that helped me tackle the issue. I had follow on questions for which I called the clinic. She addressed my queries very professionally and patiently. I am happy with the level and quality of care provided and would wholeheartedly recommend seeking care at Durango Urgent Care, and especially from Ms. Kiessel.

We were passing through town on a trip to Pagosa Springs and realized that our daughter had an ear infection. It was easy to chekc in online 30 minutes out, and we were seen almost exactly at our scheduled time. All of the staff was friendly and kind, and the visit was incredibly quick. It's the best Urgent Care visit my husband and I have ever experienced. We got the meds and were back on the road quickly!

Came in with severe sinus and ear pain issues. Provider didn't take concerns seriously despite obvious discomfort. Said we'll test for covid/flu/rsv. Said she would call back with results, either positive or negative. Never called back. I called for results, they never called back.

Megan was wonderful and even gave me a followup call. And during the followup call send in a scrip of antibiotics that I needed for bullseye bite that the ER I wasn't able to get. Thank you Megan. Made my vacation so much better since I was not near my home medical care physician.

Amanda was Awesome, she had a great personality, great bedside manner and she was very engaging. Amanda made my semi emergency a pleasant and painless experience. If I ever need urgent care again I hope Amanda will be there. I can’t say enough good about her. Thank you Shawn Glynn

NIck was personable, really listened, asked appropriate questions, asked for my input and made well-reasoned decisions. Who could ask for more?? I felt my care was terrific.

Took my pain seriously, worked out pain relief that would work for me, and walked me through how to take care of my injury afterwards and was still time efficient. After this visit I felt both physically better but also emotionally better knowing confidently that I wouldn't be needing surgery, and knowing what I needed to watch out for to keep it from getting that bad. I have rarely had a doctor who paid attention to both pain and injury severity, it was a breath of fresh air to have an injury that would get better on its own and still get support with pain and recovery.

Claire and Amanda were both awesome and even made the experience enjoyable!

I also want to praise the entire staff. It was a full house when I arrived, but procedure ran loke clockwork - had to wait a couple of hours but no problem! Mike knew what issue was as soon as he felt lump on my neck ... lipoma ... fat ... so no cancer or concern. Recommended I see a dermatologist if condition worsens. Very professional, met me with a big grin and handshake ... recommend him highly!

The PA and nursing staff were amazing, professional, kind, and courteous. Although this was my first time behind the doors, I have been there with family and friends, and it's always the same. Great experience despite the circumstances.

Was visiting from Nebraska. Totally impressed with appointment and check in process. Staff was caring and helpful. Dr Koch was fantastic. Even after I left the area she followed up to see how I was doing and provided guidance. I highly recommend this practice.

Doctor Stewart listened to what happened to me and checked out my injury. He had my ankle z-rayed and gave me advice on how to manage my badly sprained ankle and gave me a referral to see my orthopedic doctor if I had further concerns.

My husband and I went in to urgent care while traveling. We both had tested positive on a covid home test the night before. It care was outstanding! Shaina was thorough and explained everything very clearly and answered all questions. If you were closer than a12 hour drive I would make your clinic out PCP!

Mike quickly diagnosed my eye problem, gave me instant pain relief, and called in a prescription nearby.

Professional. Asked appropriate questions. Caring & empathetic. Kept me advised as to what was happening and what was going to happen. Checked my level of pain and anxiety frequently.

This was the best service I have had at an urgent care. The staff really cared about my condition. I didn't realize how sick I was and I was told what I needed to do to hopefully get better. Getting a phone call on Saturday showed how concerned they were about me. Thank everyone for your help.

I was feeling very sick and Susannah and her assistant were very helpful, and got me in and out quickly.

Dr Cain was very knowledgeable regarding my ear ailment, and I left very comfortable.

Received an appointment quickly, about an hour wait; OK for urgent care. Provider was nice, responsive to the allergy skin condition I had. I was given 5 days of 60mg Prednisone, decreasing to 40mg and topical steroids. This does was very high, after 5 days I was left shaking, blood pressure high and the skin condition was not controlled, hives, red and itch spread to my entire face, neck and chest. Went to my primary provider who gave me a Solumedrol injection and 7 more days Prednisone at 20 mg, decreasing to 10mg, then 5 mg. Also added supplements and OTC antihistamine combinations. No more topical steroids as these made the condition worse. Following up with Dermatology.

Ms Kiessel and the entire support staff were warm, welcoming and attended to my healthcare needs with empathy while maintaining professionalism, making the entire process speedy and pleasant!! I’m appreciative of the clinic team and the seamless care. Thanks so much!!

The health situation was taken care of. Because of a conflict in scheduling my wait time was way too long, but my treatment was outstanding. Worth the wait.

The PA it was very caring and gave us some good information as a starting point to determine what was causing the problem with my son's ears.

During a bought of croup, our visit to the DUC helped our 5 year old daughter tremendously. Patrick’s bed side manner was impressive as well as his ability to help us feel at ease. The office staff were very kind and it was easy to make an appointment on line.

Provider listened and explained that for my situation, I needed to go to Mercy for diagnostic testing that they couldn’t readily provide. That’s what I did. Overall, the care and concern I got was good and appreciated.

I liked the online check in. Staff was very welcoming, business oriented and caring. Got a bonus tetanus shot that I needed and a cream that actually works for my dermatitus/eczema. They even gave me a list of local primary care providers and pointed out the top 3 that were accepting mew patients, which is a huge time saver for me. I just wish I would have come in sooner!

We were seen quickly on a holiday weekend, and met with friendly staff. Susannah Young was friendly, caring, and helped my 8 year old feel at ease. Office staff was helpful and kind.

If could give them 6 stars, I would. I am an out-of-town traveller and Dr. Nick Armano saw me and examined my right ankle, which I'd recently injured. He got me 3 X-rays immediately in their clinic and found a hairline fracture. While not the news I wanted, he gave me a protective boot, crutches and great advice about taking care of myself going forward. His prompt attention, medical advice and "beside manner" were excellent. I highly recommend the Durango Urgent Care center and Nick in particular! Thanks D. Morganstern

Was able to get in quickly. Tested for RSV, Flu, and Covid with one swab and notified of result in 20 minutes and picking up script soon after that

Sean was fantastic. Our vacation seemingly took a hard turn down as our little girl spiked a fever, refused to eat and became dehydrated while we were skiing up at Purg. Not being from the area, I did a quick Google search and found this UC—I’m glad that I did! I’m an emergency physician with almost a decade of experience, and if I’m honest, urgent care facilities in my home town can be hit or miss. Not so in Durango! Sean was methodical and thorough in his assessment and did a great job diagnosing our little girl with strep. I’d let him care for my family 10/10 times. Great job to the whole staff at DUC!

Every time I have gone to Durango Urgent Care, the staff have been friendly, caring, & treated me with compassion. They always follow up with a phone call in a couple of day’s to check to see how you are doing. It just show’s how much they care. I will always recommend them!

Nick was excellent. He gave great advice, explained things clearly, and his “better safe than sorry” approach with regard to the X-ray gave me peace of mind. I left there knowing I had a cracked fibula instead of wondering about the extent of my injury.

I really appreciate how quickly the team was able to evaluate and diagnose my ankle fracture. Sean was congenial and thorough. The only concern I had was that there was a delay in transmitting my referral to the orthopedic surgeon which delayed setting up my initial appointment. I was seen quickly at the Purgatory Urgent care and Nic was amazing. He was attentive to my issues and quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me the information needed to get over my issues quickly and completely.

I was visiting Durango and had a Covid exposure so I wanted to be tested and or treated as soon as possible. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and waited only about 30 minutes to be seen. I was very pleased with the care I received.

Was thoroughly impressed by everyone on a recent visit for a laceration under my eye. From the folks at the front desk to the nurse to Amanda Kiessel, the service and care was top notch.

I went to urgent care in one of the most painful sicknesses I’ve had yet! The front office staff was incredibly kind and calm. Dr. Nic was not only the nicest doctor I have ever met but he was super informative, to the point, and wanted what was best for me to get better. He found out what the issue was in minutes, or at least it felt like it because he was so fast! I’m definitely coming to this urgent care if I need friendly, comfortable, and overall great service.

Pretty good for an urgent care facility. In and out under 1 hour.

I went in because I had a clogged ear, that was draining and I couldn't hear out of, from having the flu. Nick made sure to ask about all my symptoms and look at my ear. He said I had a pin size whole in my ear drum. He made sure to explain what that meant, how long it would take to heal, and what to expect as it was healing, why he was putting me on the medication he was, and how to take care of my ear while it was healing. I left knowing I would start to feel better soon.

Dr. Patrick was professional, listened to my concerns and ran some tests. He asked if I wanted to wait the 45 minutes for the results in the office or at home. I appreciated that offer because I was super sick and wanted to go back home. He called with the results exactly when he said he'd get them and provided me with medication options. Overall an easy experience.

She was wonderful! The waiting room was full of grumpy people, and it was Chrstams Eve, yet she took the time to talk to me, was not rushed and I felt truly taken care of

Efficient and caring.

We were in Drango on vacation and I had a cough for a week that simply would not let up. At 83 I was getting quite concerned. My husband located Durango Urgent Care on Google. They were wonderful! They took us right in, saw me quite quickly, assessed by symptoms, checked my lungs and found them clear, gave me a couple prescriptions to help relieve symptoms, and assured me I would no doubt be getting better in another week, that I simply had a virus that was making the rounds. That reassured me, though it did not much encourage me on vacation. Their fee was not outrageous either!

My visit was great - receptionist was so nice - she got me in right away - Dr Cain was very good - he checked me out thoroughly and ordered me meds and had me on my way quickly! His treatment options worked very well and I am doing very well . Another doctor called to further answer follow up questions! I felt very well cared for ! A lady called me later to check on me and see how I was doing ! Great urgent care experience!
